WHAT IS YOUR POLICY ON RETURNS?

Due to the high volume of incoming orders, stock availability changes very quickly. We urge you to call before placing your order. Your credit card will not be charged until we confirm the availability of your order. 

RETURNS OF IN STOCK ITEMS AND ONLINE PURCHASE

Exchanges may not be available for online orders due to our ever-changing inventory. We have NO control and accept NO responsibility for the sizing you select for your merchandise . Please check the provided size chart to ensure correct sizing.

All goods and merchandise MUST BE INSPECTED UPON RECEIPT . Absolutely no returns will be accepted unless a phone call or a written claim is made within 3 days of receipt. We are not responsible for merchandise after 3 days of receipt.

All dress sales are final sales. We will NOT take a return on any dress sold through Prom-Avenue after 3 days of receiving the merchandise. Returns are only accepted with dresses that are purchase online .

Store purchase are FINAL.


ALL other merchandise, such as sale dresses, purses, jewelries/accessories and sale merchandise are FINAL SALE  and are not exchangeable  .

 

RETURN AND EXCHANGE REQUIREMENTS ARE FOR ONLINE ORDERS ONLY 

You can return your dress for a refund minus 15 % restocking fee .Restocking fee are deducted from your final refund amount .

You must request a return within 3 days of of the delivery of your merchandise.

The dress must be in the same condition as received with original tags attached, unwashed and unworn.

You cannot request a return past the wear date given on order or past the 3 day return window.

Original dress is shipped back within 3 business days from the time that you are given a return authorization number - RMA #.Anything that is sent back after 3 days after a return authorization number is given will not be accepted.Any dress without the return authorization number  will not be accepted .

Customer is responsible for shipping charges when returning the merchandise.Dresses must be shipped back via UPS or FEDEX only .

Please allow 7 Busines Days to process your refund.

 

WHEN SHOULD I START SHOPPING FOR MY PROM DRESS ?

Start as soon as possible to ensure availability of the the dress that you chose because our inventory moves very quickly . The sooner that you place your order - the better the chance of you receiving the dress of your event . Popular colors and beautiful, sexy dresses are usually gone 1 month before the homecoming or prom season .

 

WHY CAN'T I ORDER MY SIZE?

As we strive to give the best service to our costumers, we do not guarantee that every size /color is in stock. We keep our inventory true to it's availability so we can ship the dresses prior to wear date. You will receive a call, message or email within 24-48 hours if your order is not available, or your order will be confirmed via email within 48 hours after your order is processed.

 

HOW WILL I KNOW MY SIZE?

Please refer to size chart on dress page for accurate sizing information.

 

ARE ALL THE DRESSES ON YOUR WEBSITE IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE?

Everything on our website is something we either currently have in the physical  inventory, something we are waiting to receive, or something we have sold already.But,because of high demand of this dresses, we do not guarantee that every color/size combination is in stock right away. If the dress is in stock or available to ship prior to your wear date, your order will automatically be confirmed.We will call you or send you a message/email within 24-48 hours if your dress is not available . 


CAN YOU SPECIAL ORDER A DRESS FOR ME IF THE STYLE, COLOR, OR SIZE IS NOT IN YOUR STORE?

Yes, we can special order dresses for style, size and color as long as that dress can be delivered in time for your event!


DO YOU SELL YOUR DRESSES OFF THE FLOOR OR ARE THEY ALL SAMPLES?


Yes ! We sell our dresses off of our physical inventory  unless we are special ordering a specific style, color, or size. Store items are all final sales !


WHAT FORM OF PAYMENT DO YOU TAKE ?

Visa, Mastercard & Discover.

YOUR CREDIT CARD WILL NOT BE CHARGED until we determine that your dress is available to be shipped to you by your wear date. 


CAN I EXCHANGE OR RETURN MY SHOE PURCHASE?

ALL SHOE SALES ARE FINAL SALES. We will not take a return on any shoes sold through the PROM-AVENUE.


DO YOU SHIP TO P.O. BOXES?

No—please enter a valid residence address for a successful delivery. We DO NOT ship to AFO/PFO address / frieght forwarding address / mailbox rentals.



DO YOU DELIVER OUTSIDE THE CONTINENTAL U.S?

At this time, we only ship orders within the continental United States.


WHAT ARE MY DELIVERY OPTIONS?

We deliver via USPS and UPS to most parts of the country. Based on the delivery date you select for your dress to arrive and the size availability, our system automatically selects the least expensive shipping option for you.


WILL THE DRESS NEED TO BE PRESSED UPON ARRIVAL?

We do our best to ensure everything arrives wrinkle free. Each dress is steamed and pressed before being sealed in plastic and wrapped in a garment bag. Certain fabrics are more prone to wrinkling, so if you receive a dress with slight creases please try steaming the garment on low heat.


 95% of our customers need some type of alterations. Any local seamstress should be able to do it for you. All gowns can be hemmed (even beaded gowns). All gowns can be taken in at the side seams or the seam at the back. Often gowns must be taken in at the straps to fit properly, especially for those that are “short waisted” .

 

WHAT IS A SPECIAL ORDER?

All special-order items are manufactured especially for you by the designer. We strongly encourage customers to get measured properly and order the appropriate size. We will not be able to accept returns or exchanges for special-order items. Also, once an order has been placed for a special-order dress, the order cannot be canceled.

 

WHY HAVEN'T YOU RESPONDED TO MY E-MAIL OR PHONE CALLS

Our team works very deligently to respond as quick as possible however during prom season - we take large volume of e-mails and phone call and due to the time of the year - it can take 24-72 hours for our team to address your call or e-mail.

We highly recommend that you place your phone call or inquiry after 4 PM Central Time 

 

WHY AM I ASK FOR A WEAR DATE?

At the time of purchase  ,you are required to enter a wear date . Not all dresses or products on our site are available for delivery . We will only process the order if we can guarantee it arrives in time for your event .

Your information is never given out to any 3rd party expect for delivery services ( USPS- Shipping address and phone number are required to deliver your package)

IMPORTANT: FOR INTERNATIONAL AND CANADIAN ORDERS. We cannot guarantee that you will or will not be charged any customs taxes or duties. Any customs or import duties are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. These charges must be paid by the recepient of the parcel. 

ALL INTERNATIONAL ORDERS ARE FINAL SALE and SHIPPING fee will be added/ applied to your final cost.
